'Anubhuti' serves as a reflection of the feminine voice, capturing the essence of a woman, a human being, and a nurturing mother. The poems collected within these pages draw from the rich tapestry of my experiences, infused with the myriad shades of my life and shaped by profound self-reflection. It is a tribute to those elements that have often eluded me, despite their proximity. This collection unveils the unvoiced depths of sentiments, exploring both the surreal nature of existence and the profound silence that envelops us. Certain verses encapsulate those fleeting instances when the tension of uncertainty and the weight of reality converge in the mind. Yet, an undeniable theme courses through each poem: the quest for connections—be it the bond the poet shares with nature, with others, or with her own self. I envision my readers as collaborators on this journey. My poetry aims to spark a fresh wave of contemplation, stirring emotional responses that might unlock the previously closed doors of their subconscious. My hope is that these verses provide enlightening perspectives, urging us to delve into and comprehend the unarticulated facets of our lives.

Vandana Kandpal

Vandana Kandpal

Vandana hails from Uttarakhand. She spent her early life in Mussoorie and Nainital. She is a post graduate in Economics from 'Dev Singh Bisht' Campus (DSB) Nainital. Vandana is a teacher and a dedicated environmentalist and sensitive poet. Born in the lap of nature, her inspiration has been nature itself. For her, trees, plants, rivers, and mountains are not just natural beauty, but the basis and source of inspiration for life. She has inspired her students in many ways through her teaching to nurture and preserve nature and environment. Environmental conservation is her main objective. This is the reason why her poems beautifully depict life growing in the proximity of nature, environmental conservation, and our responsibilities towards the earth. 'Anubhuti' collection is her latest poetry collection, which gives a deep glimpse of the various forms of nature and our relationship with the environment.
