This study examines relationships, identity, and societal challenges in Manju Kapur's novels using qualitative methods like discourse analysis. It explores themes of patriarchy, feminism, and cultural identity, focusing on women's evolving attitudes and struggles. The research addresses societal attitudes, gender dynamics, and women's sensibility, providing insights into Kapur's depiction of women across generations and roles. Despite limitations, such as analyzing only select novels, the study enhances understanding of gender dynamics in contemporary Indian society and suggests future research directions on women's representation in literature and society.
