The Fifth Deans’ Committee of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research has recently updated the uniform B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture syllabus nationwide. The course titled ‘PRINCIPLES AND PRACTICES OF ORCHARD MANAGEMENT’ encompasses the complete syllabus organized into various chapters. Clear and straightforward language has been employed to facilitate comprehension for novices. The content within this book is a compilation drawn from a range of published materials and online resources, duly acknowledged at the conclusion of each chapter in the references. While significant effort has been made to include the most current information, it is possible that some important details may have been overlooked. To enhance learning outcomes, review questions are presented at the end of each chapter to gauge the students’ grasp of the material.
