We are delighted to present the proceedings of the First International Conference on “Transforming Lives Through Adoption of SDGs: Role of Higher Education Institutions (TLASH 2024),” held on May 30-31, 2024, by GD Goenka University, India, in collaboration with the Association of Indian Universities and the Ministry of Education's Institution's Innovation Council. Featuring diverse sessions on health, technology, law, agriculture, and tourism, TLASH 2024 facilitated knowledge exchange and collaboration for achieving the SDGs by 2030.

Prof. Rahul Pratap Singh

Dr. Rahul Pratap Singh is a Professor of Pharmaceutics at GD Goenka University, Gurugram, specializing in advanced drug delivery systems, nanomedicines, and pharmacokinetics. He is a Ph.D. graduate from Banaras Hindu University. He previously worked at Mankind Research Centre and has been an academic professional and leader at GD Goenka University since 2017. Dr. Singh has earned numerous accolades, including the Gandhian Young Technological Innovation Award 2017, and leads in the AD Scientific Index 2021-2024 at his university.

Prof. Anjali Midha

Dr. Anjali Midha Sharan has earned her Ph.D., Masters and Bachelor’s qualifications from Delhi University. Her training from Council for Adult & Experiential Learning USA, Laureate Universities Network and several other Institutions, has enabled her in leading several academic and training initiatives for various stakeholders including several senior executives of Top Organization.

Prof. Naresh Sharma

Dr. Naresh Sharma, Head, School of Engineering and Sciences, has nearly two decades of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration. His areas of expertise include Simulation of Queueing Models, Machine Learning, Predictive Modeling, Forecasting Technique and Fluid Dynamics. He holds a Ph.D. from Maharshi Dayanand University (India).

Dr. Vikas Jhawat

Dr. Vikas Jhawat is an Associate Professor of Pharmaceutics at GD Goenka University, Gurugram, specializing in advanced drug delivery systems, nanomedicines, and pharmacokinetics. At GD Goenka University, India, he teaches courses in Biopharmaceutics, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Cosmetic Science, and Industrial Pharmacy.

Dr. Parvesh Lata

Dr. Parvesh Lata is an expert in the area of Science Education, Education Technology and Teacher Education. She has 17 years of experience in the education sector. Before taking up her current role, Parvesh Lata served in academic and Research positions such as Associate Professor at a college affiliated with GGSIPU, New Delhi; Research Officer, School of Education (Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi) for the Project ‘Setting up of School of Education’ under the scheme of Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya National Mission on Teachers and Teaching (PMMMNMTT),
