Dr. Harsh Singh

Dr. Harsh Singh did his Ph.D. in 2011 and had an experience of 17 years in the field of Plant Taxonomy, Ethnobotany and Plant Conservation, especially Himalayan plants. He had published more than 70 research papers and one book in the regional, national and international journals and discovered several new species from Western and Eastern Himalaya. He was awarded as CSIR-RA and DST-Young Scientist, New Delhi and an experience of handling many projects funded by AYUSH, CSIR, DST, DBT, and NIMITLI. He is an editor and reviewer of several national and international journals and continuing working on publishing floras and new species from Indian Himalayan Region.

Prof. P. C. Pande

Prof. P.C. Pande did his M.Sc. (Botany) in 1975 and Ph.D. in 1985 from Kumaun University, Nainital. Dr. Pande started his teaching carrier in 1975 and retired as a Professor of Botany from Department of Botany, Kumaun University, Nainital. He is associated with many scientific societies. He has to his credit more than a dozen books and a significant number of research papers contributed to various treatises and national and international journals. He was awarded Dr. HarshbergerMedal in 2010 and Sipani Krishi Anusandhan Farm in 1992 award for his contribution in the field of Ethnobotany and Traditional Knowledge Systems. His core working areas are Plant Taxonomoy, Ethnobotany and Traditional Knowledge System. After successfully completing research projects of UGC and CSIR, he is currently engaged on research in Traditional Knowledge Systems in Uttarakhand.
