His academic journey continued with an MS degree in Surgery from Calcutta Medical College and IPGMER in 1975. Driven by a passion for healing, he contributed his skills to institutions like CMRI and Nangi ESI Hospital before venturing to England. For 36 years, he dedicated himself as a consultant surgeon, upholding the principles of serving the underprivileged. Currently, he continues his commitment to healthcare at the Centenary Port Trust Hospital, showcasing a lifetime dedicated to the art and science of medicine and pursuing his love for writing.
