Dr. Rita Bhattacharyya currently serves as the Principal Investigator for a research project at the Asiatic Society, Kolkata, where she has been actively involved in various scholarly pursuits over the years. She has also taught Sanskrit and Manuscriptology at esteemed institutions such as the Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture and Jadavpur University. Dr. Bhattacharyya has authored around fifteen research-oriented books, published by prestigious organizations including the Asiatic Society and the Centre for Indological Studies. With approximately 100 research papers in national and international journals, she continues her academic contributions, and several more of her books are forthcoming. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Calcutta in 2002.
