Raghavendra Nayak is the esteemed author of A Prolonged Passage and Other Poems, as well as Holding the Real Work: Ecology, Environment and Literature. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy degree from Pondicherry University, a prestigious Central University located in Puducherry, India, focusing his research on the poetry of Gary Snyder—an influential American poet, environmental activist, and a key figure in the Deep Ecology movement. Presently, Raghavendra serves as an Assistant Professor (SS) and is the Head of the Department of English at Government First Grade College in Manvi, Karnataka, India.
