Dr. Punam Kumari, an esteemed academician, began her journey as Assistant Professor-cum-Junior Scientist at Rajendra Agricultural University, Pusa, Bihar, India, in March 1989. Holding a doctoral degree in Women in Agriculture and a Higher Diploma in Education from a USAID program, she has demonstrated excellence in academia. Currently serving as Professor-cum-Chief Scientist at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University since July 2006, she has spearheaded numerous World Bank projects and rural development initiatives. Recognized with the Best Teacher Award by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research in 2000, she is renowned for her expertise in education and her significant contributions to women empowerment and entrepreneurship development.
