Professor, Institute of Management in Government, (I.M.G.)Thiruvananthapuram; Former Dean, Faculty of Management Studies, Kerala University ; Former Director, Department of Management Studies, Mar Athanasius College, Kothamangalam; Former Dean, Marian School of Management Studies, Kothamangalam, Former Professor and Head, Department of Management Studies, Viswajyothi College of Engineering and Technology, Vazhakulam; He is also Former Faculty Member, Centre for Studies in Science Policy, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi (1976-79) and Department of Public Administration, South Gujarat University, Surat (1979-82)

Since June, 2015 till December 2015, he functioned as Corporate Head of Human Resource Management, Viswajyothi College of Engineering & Technology, Vazhakualam, attached to the Kerala Technological University, with the responsibility for carrying out performance appraisal of the Academic and non-academic staff, and assigning to them API (Academic Performance Index) score as prescribed by the AICTE, covering a total of about 300 employees of the College.  

It was after the above work, and following a near fatal heart failure, that he completed and published six of his new books, namely, (1) Keralathile Udyogastha Rastreeyam: A Study of the Bureauctartic Culture of Kerala, 1917; (2) Gospel According to Myself, 2017 (Autobiography); (3) Mirror of My Self, 2017; (4) Nation Building and Local Leadership: A Study from South India, 2018; (5) Dance of Authority, 2019; and this book, Institutional Pathology.
