He served as a Subject Matter Specialist, Technical Officer, Agricultural Development Officer, and Principal Agriculture Officer in the Department of Agriculture, Government of Maharashtra. In the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi, he worked as the Joint Director, Director, and Additional Commissioner. He also served as the Director of Vocational Education at the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) under MHRD, GOI. He officially visited Israel and New Zealand.
