Dr. Priya Rajesh Parkar, M.A. (Geography) is Associate Professor in Environmental Studies at Maharshi Dayanand College (affiliated to The University of Mumbai). During her 30 years of teaching experience, she has participated in several international and national seminars and conferences on cross–disciplinary themes and published 30 research articles in international and national journals. The main areas of her research interest are Environmental geography, Tourism Geography, Regional Geography, Social Geography, Cultural Geography and Disaster Management.
