The author of this book "Rejection of materialism and Advaita Vedanta" Graduated from Presidency College and was the Ishan Scholar having being ranked 1st class 1st. She completed her M.A from Calcutta University, ranking 1st class 1st once again, with record marks obtained in the Special Paper. She has completed her Ph.D. in Sri Aurobindo's Philosophy and has been serving Behala College since 2005. Several of her Articles have been published in various prestigious journals.
