Dr. Kumaraswamy. C, is presently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Social Work at Acharya Institute of Graduate Studies, Bengaluru - 560107, India. In Social Work, secured First Rank from the University of Mysore and PhD in Empowerment of rural women. He has worked in the development sector for over 35 years with the association of NGOs, State & Central Govt Departments (G o I), Industries, Corporate sectors, World Bank projects, and International Donors. Also, published more than 10 books and 22 Articles, This Training Manual is developed based on the experience of trainings for NGOs, Training institutes, Department officials and CBOs.
