Dr Debasish Pradhan is an accomplished researcher eminent academician in Pharmacology field of the Pharmaceutical Sciences. In Research and Teaching he has a total experience of twenty (20) years. Specifically he is a specialist in Pharmacology, toxicology, immunity, breast & lung cancer, ethno & nanomedicine. He is currently in the position of Sr. Faculty of Pharmacology & the course co-ordinator of the Pharmacy Practice PG course at University Dept. of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. He did his Doctoral programme in Pharmacy from Utkal University, Post Doctral Studies (PDF) from Creighton University, USA & MBA from IIPM. He has also obtained the prestigious FIC award, UGC Research Award from the Institute of Chemist, Kolkatta and UGC New-Delhi respectively. Dr Pradhan has published more than 120 research publications in his thrust area related to toxicology, breast cancer & lung cancer, immunity, nanomedicine and ethnomedicine. He has written & edited three text books. Dr Pradhan is also credited to have one US patent. Under his direct supervision & guidance ten (10) numbers of PhD have been awarded. He is a recognized expert in nutritional medicine, cancer invivo & invitro study. He has utilized more than one crore of research grants from different funding agencies like the UGC, ICMR, DST, AICTE etc. He has attended many scientific events as a resource person and himself organized a number of national as well international seminars & conferences.
