Dr. Surjit Sen is presently Head, Department of Botany, Fakir Chand College, Diamond Harbour, University of Calcutta. He has completed his Master's degree in Botany from Darjeeling Govt. College in 2001 and in 2007 he obtained his Ph.D. degree from the University of North Bengal. He has been engaged in teaching and research for more than 10 years. He has established his research carrier in a diverse field which involves Plant disease management, host pathogen interaction post-harvest technology and many more. Dr. Sen has published more than 50 research articles in various journals of National and International repute and 1 book.
