Surendra Nath Giri, Former Principal, Biranchi Narayan Madhab Arjun College, Paliabindha, Bhadrak, Odisha, has started his career as Lecturer and Head, Department of Education from Anchalika Mahavidyalaya Hatadihi, Keonjhar, Odisha. Sometimes he has worked as a resource person for IGNOU B.Ed courses. As a classroom teacher, he has the teaching experience of more than 36 years consecutively and retired as the principal. He has varied practical experiences of teaching, guiding and leading the students to achieve academic excellence in different spheres. He is the author of two books; "Foundations of Special Education" and "Basics of Curriculum Development" being published by Kalyani Publishers, New Delhi, India. He has possessed sound academic career and degrees from different Government Colleges and Universities of India. He has been working and inspiring students and teachers to achieve academic excellence.
