Dr. Hafeez Uddin Ahmed Kirmani is a distinguished author and a polyglot who has many works to his credit. His works have been published in Hindi, Urdu, Persian and English. He transliterated ‘Bikhre Moti’, the collection of Urdu poems of Dr. M.N. Saxena 'Aseer', into Devnaagri. He translated ‘A Brief History of the Persian Literature’ of Reuben Levy from English to Urdu. In Persian he wrote, ‘Sher-i-Inqilab bad az Inqilab-i-Islami-i-Iran’ (Revolutionary poetry after the Islamic Revolution of Iran). His other works are ‘Persian Literature Produced during the Reign of Jahangir’ and ‘Asif Khan-III– His life and works’. Two of his books have been the part of two university syllabuses.
