A scholar and academician in English literature worked as a teacher turned poet at different phase of his professional carrier and remained as such till his last breath.
Born on 1st January, 1928 in a middle class family in the district of Bolangir, a princely state of Odisha (India), lived his life up to 2nd March 2011. After completion of his education from Prithiviraj High School, Bolangir and SRCG College, Paralakhemundi, under Utkal University, Odisha, he opted teaching as his professional career and started his ungrudged marathon journey despite predestined ups and downs of life. He served under Govt. of Odisha in education Dept. and imparted teaching English literature in different Govt. high schools in the state of Odisha and in Vimla convent after his retirement.
Beyond teaching, his deep passion for reading, writing music and specially his strong inclination towards nature and natural phenomena has consequently transformed into the present piece of work as “A GARLAND OF WILD FLOWERS”.
