While attending the University of Texas at El Paso, and consequently teaching and lecturing, he also wrote poetry, many of which were published. Back in India, the author's poetry writing blossomed when working in Koderma with a renowned Engineering College of Jharkhand. The wooded, sylvan area surrounding the College, where the forest begins, has inspired eloquent expressions. are some of the many poems penned by the author in this book. The author is currently still attached with an Institution, as Deputy Director. He contemplates writing more poems on varied topics associated with the woods, hills, festivals, human and animal characters and the realms of nature. Interests in History and Mythology have also inspired some poems.
