Dr. Parimal, a distinguished medical professional, embarked on his illustrious career after earning his MBBS from Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh University in 1968. His academic journey continued with an MS degree in Surgery from Calcutta Medical College and IPGMER in 1975. Driven by a passion for healing, he contributed his skills to institutions like CMRI and Nangi ESI Hospital before venturing to England. Over two years, he served in prominent hospitals in London, Essex, and Glasgow, earning the prestigious FRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons, Glasgow.
Returning to India, Dr. Parimal followed his father's compassionate legacy, opting for Balananda Brahmachari Hospital over corporate institutions. For 36 years, he dedicated himself as a consultant surgeon, upholding the principles of serving the underprivileged. Currently, he continues his commitment to healthcare at the Centenary Port Trust Hospital, showcasing a lifetime dedicated to the art and science of medicine and pursuing his love for writing.
